That Friday Feeling

I need to apologise to subscribers and paid supporters of this Substack. All week I’ve been hard at it, finishing up On the Line (is that a crap title for a TRS book? My wife thinks so), at I’m glad to announce it’s 99% there, as in all the text is done, all the illustrations are drawn (300+), and the book is all laid out in Indesign (250 page 9x11 book). The last thing to do is get my proofreaders to do their thing, and then the book should be ready for people to get it (like all wars, this project will be over for Xmas).

Seeing as I don’t have any social media to promote the book and get the word out, I’m probably going to launch a Kickstarter page next week, with discounts for the first X amount of copies (like Down, this will be around £25, which with inflation, that’ll make it the same price as a cup of coffee at a London Pret A Manger by the time it comes out). I’ll give people a heads-up on this Substack just before the page goes live, but I will be doing some dodgy book of the car deals for paid Substack subscribers.

Anyway, this was just a quick note to say that, yes, I’ve been crap the last few weeks at getting content out on this Substack, but once this book is done and dusted, I’ll be back on it.

Thanks for your support…. actually, I’ve just realised it’s not Friday, but Monday, which perhaps demonstrates where I’m at with this project (at the END!).
